July 15 Troop Meeting - Meet at St. John Neumann

We’re going to be doing service at St. John Neumann and will be meeting there. Bring work gloves and a yard rake (if you have one).

Court of Honor
July 27, 2014

The Scouts have earned a TON of advancement since March. This includes: Merit Badges, Rank Advancement and other awards.

New parents: a Court of Honor is like a Blue & Gold in cub scouts. All are welcomed and encouraged to come support the scouts and show off what they’ve been doing in the troop. Grandparents, aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters... Bring them all.

At this Court of Honor, the Shadow Ninjas will be moved out of the new-scout patrol and into patrols with the other scouts.

Highway X Clean Up
July 29, 2014

It’s time for the second of our highway clean-ups. The more scouts we have the faster the clean-up will go. Also since this is the second clean-up, we don’t have to deal with the accumulated trash from the winter.

Meet at ETC (in the front) at 6 pm. Bring work gloves. Garbage bags and high-visibility jackets will be provided.

Sign-up at the troop meetings or email Liz so we have a count of how many will be participating.

August Tubing Outing
Date... To Be Announced

The PLC is working on the date for the Tubing Outing. I hear they’ve picked the river and expect to have a lot of fun on the outing! Watch your email for more information and permission slips should be out in July.

OA Fall Conference
August 22-24, 2014

Calling all Ordermen! The OA Fall Conference is August 22-24th at Camp Long Lake. This is also when those who are called out at Summer Camp can do their Ordeal. See the Council’s or OA’s website for more information and to sign up.

Birthdays

Scoutrageous
July 31, 2014

This is the program kick-off for 2014-2015. Learn about advancement changes and updates, upcoming 2016 program changes, visit packs and troop leaders, visit program booths.

Pewaukee High School, the Boy Scout program will be in the Auditorium. Registration starts at 6 pm; program at 6:30 pm; and program booths at 7 pm.

Know cub scout leaders? They are having their kick-off at the same time in the Cafeteria.

Troop 4 Portal

Want to know how much money’s in your scout account? Can’t remember if you signed up for an outing? You can find out on-line.

We’re moving to a new Troop 4 Portal -- http://www.esitec.net/t4/t4portal. With the upgrade, you will need a user name & password to logon. The scouts have been pre-loaded. Parents... You can now have your own logon. If you have more than one scout in the troop, you can associate all your scouts with one user name!

Email Liz with any questions.

Round Table Changes

Going into the fall, there are some changes to Round Table. For Boy Scouts, we will still be meeting the First Wednesday of the month (unless otherwise noted) from 7 - 8 pm. Our new location is St. John’s Lutheran Church on Davidson Road in Brookfield. OA chapter meetings have not been decided quite yet.

Please pass to cub scout leaders: There will be 2 cub scout Round Tables: the First Tuesday and the First Thursday from 7 - 8 pm. The program at both will be the same and they are encouraged to attend the one that works best for them. Have them attend Scoutrageous and watch the Council website for information on the locations and program.
