Eagle Cave
December 13-14, 2014

It is highly recommended that you visit Good Will and purchase used clothing -- two or three outfits -- as you will be getting muddy in the cave and you cannot wear any items from this cave into another cave.

Time: Meet at ETC at 8 am (NOTE Arrival Time Change) on December 13. Return around noon on December 14.

Chili’s Fundraiser
November 1, 2014 - January 31, 2015

We’re having a Chili’s Fundraiser again this year. What do you have to do? Pass out the coupons (available with the fall fundraiser and to print off the troop website) to anyone you know -- friends, family, coworkers. That’s it! When they go to the Chili’s on Sunset and turn the coupon in, the Troop will get 10% of their bill!

White Elephant Gift Exchange
December 16, 2014

At the December 16 Troop Meeting, the PLC has decided to hold a White Elephant gift exchange. Bring a gift that costs between 1? and $5, wrapped without a name on it. Gifts will be opened at the same time while in a circle, then we’ll go around the circle once with everyone required to trade (you cannot refuse). It should be a ton of fun. Movie & Game Night
December 30, 2014

It’s a 5th Tuesday! We’re going to have a movie & game night December 30th. From 6:30 - 8 pm. We’ll watch a movie and play board games. If you’re interested in suggesting movies or bringing a game, talk with the PLC.

January Activities

Rather than a single outing, the Troop decided to do day activities on several weekends.

January 10 -- Service Opportunity -- Helping at the Mukwanago Cub-O-Ree

January 17 -- Outdoor Fun! -- Participating in the River Trails Klondike
There is an option to camp out Friday night as well.
Permission slips are available. For the discount price, turn them in by December 16

February 1 -- Ice Skating Fun! -- Spending a fun afternoon on the Ice.
Permission slips are out! You will meet and pay at Eble Ice Park (the troop is not collecting the money).

The next Court of Honor will be January 18! The Court of Honor Committee is already coming up with the menu and looking for a scout interested in being the Emcee. Interested? Shoot Liz an email and she’ll pass it along.\

Summer Camp 2015
July 5-11, 2014

It’s not too early to start thinking about Summer Camp! The early bird price (paid in full by February 24) is $290. Permission slips are out.

Information about merit badges offered will be sent around as soon as it’s made available. Start thinking about badges you want to work or outposts you’d like to go on.

Philmont 2016!
August 7, 2016 for 12-Days!

The troop was lucky enough to win a Philmont Expedition in 2016. There is space for ONLY 9 SCOUTS. A $100 non-refundable deposit will be due in January 2015 to hold your spot. Sign up on the Deposit/Interest Permission Slip.

The expedition cost is $870 (not including travel). Travel expenses and the exact dates of the trip are being researched; more information will come later.

Recharter 2014

There are still recharter packets that have not been returned to the Troop. These need to be returned ASAP as the Troop must have everything entered on-line and printed so we can turn them in at the January roundtable.

2015 Calendar

The new calendar is up on the Troop’s website. Please get the dates into your calendar now so we can get as many scouts as possible at the outings.

If you’d like to be involved by helping a scout coordinate the outing (making reservations, etc) let Jim Anderson know.

Want to know how much money’s in your scout account? Can’t remember if you signed up for an outing? You can find out on-line.

Check out the Troop 4 Portal -- http://www.esitec.net/t4/t4portal. Parents... You can now have your own logon. If you have more than one scout in the troop, you can associate all your scouts with one user name!
