2017 Calendar

They planned it! The 2017 events were picked at the Planning Lock-in. The next step: the SPL will present them to the Committee at the November Committee Meeting.

Once the Committee approves the Calendar, it will be distributed to everyone and updated on the Troop Calendar. A parent meeting will be held during one of the November or December Troop Meetings to present the calendar and talk about how you can help.

Fall Fundraiser
Pick up: November 12, 2016

Pick up for the Fall Fundraiser is Saturday, November 12 at ETC. Watch your email for the time.

Please deliver the product to those who ordered it as quickly as possible. If you cannot deliver wreaths, place them on the grass or on a tarp to keep them from drying out. Do not leave chocolate popcorns in your car as they could melt.

The last of the money will be due at the November 15 troop meeting. Once the money has been collected and the fundraiser is closed, the commissions will be applied to Scout Accounts.

Cobia Submarine
December 16-17, 2016

Our last outing for 2016 is an overnight on the Cobia Submarine! Permission slips have been out but there is still time to sign up!

Cost: $60 / person due by October 25

Boy Scout Advancement Updates

If you are still on the OLD requirements you have until December 31, 2016 to finish the rank you are currently working on (working on Tenderfoot, Second Class or First Class under the old requirements you can finish up through First Class). After December 31, 2016 you will automatically switch to the new rank requirements -- there may be additional requirements for you to finish!

Mr. Landquist will be talking with the scouts that are still on the Old Requirements this month.
