OA Fall Conference
August 25-27, 2017

Scouts that were elected into the OA will have another opportunity to do their Ordeal at Fall Conference. Congratulations to Jimmy N who completed his OA Ordeal while at Summer Camp.

Also at Fall Conference: Brotherhood conversions and ceremonies and Vigil ceremonies, as well as important service to camp.

Webelos Jamoree
September 8-10, 2017

Show Webelos Scouts how much fun Boy Scouts can be! We’ll be participating in Webelos Jamoree again this year.

Permission slips are out. Cost is $15 / person.

Swamp Fox Service Outing
September 22-24, 2017

It’s an opportunity to get service hours and help cub scouts have fun outdoors! We’re going to be the service patrol on the September 22-24 weekend of Swamp Fox.

Badger Trails’ Devil’s Lake Hike
September 29 - October 1, 2017

The Badger Trails'’ Devil’s Lake Hike is a fun filled hiking and camping weekend! On Saturday is a hike on the pristine bluffs followed by dances in the evening.

Devil’s Lake State Park features many picturesque rock formations. The bluff trails provide an awe-inspiring opportunity to view the beautiful sights of the park.

Permission Slips are Available. Cost: $35 / person ($40 / person after September 12)

Bring a bag dinner for Friday night.

Webelos Day Outing & Planning Lock-In
October 26, 2017

It’s that time of year again! Time to show Webelos scouts how fun the outdoors can be and introduce them to Troop 4. Out annual outing to Lapham Peak happens during the day on October 26th.

Then, that night... You get to plan 2018’s outings! The lock-in will run overnight with movies and games when not planning the calendar.

Cost: $4 / person for the day outing.
          $2 / person for the lock-in. The lock-in is FREE if you do both activities!

Highway Clean Up
August 29, 2017

We’re looking at August 29 for the next highway clean up.

TIME: 5 PM -- we’ll be meeting early to work while it’s still light.

Service Opportunities

Highway Clean Up - 3 over the course of the spring/summer/fall - watch for dates!

Cub Day Camps - 4 camps over the course of the summer. See the Council website for information on who to contact about volunteering.

PAC Community Garden - The Council is once again sponsoring a community garden. They need people to go periodically over the summer to weed and harvest. The Garden is at the Council Service Center -- feel free to drop in and help.

Swamp Fox Service Patrol - we’ll be doing this again this fall. Watch for dates when the weekend is finalized.
