Scoutbook - Have You Logged In?

What does this mean? You can edit yours or your scout’s profile information (address, phone numbers, school & grade) inside Scoutbook! You can also see where your scout is in his advancement and what he needs to work on.

Don’t have access? Can’t find the invitation email? See Liz.

Got Advancement?

Looking to have requirements signed off? Remember, it’s up to you to seek out a scout First Class or Above to test and sign off on your requirements. Once they’ve dated and initialed your advancement sheet, drop it in the box and it will get recorded in Scoutbook. Not in the box or without the initials of whoever signed it off? It doesn’t get recorded.

What about Merit Badges? Once you decide you want to work on a badge, fill out a Blue Card and take it to Mr. Landquist to sign off. He’ll also help you find merit badge counselors. Having issues contacting a counselor? Let Mr. Landquist know so he can help find another counselor.

Camp Long Lake Update

The Council is still working with logging companies to schedule the clean-up. Events at camp through the end of the year are finding new locations. They are still confident they will have the clean-up done before Summer Camp in 2019.

October’s Quiz

  1. From the Middle English for “fall of dew”, what is the light rain where the water droplets are less than 0.5mm in diameter?
  2. What do opposite faces of a die always add up to?
  3. What team was the winner of the first Super Bowl?

September’s Answers: 1) Trafalgar Square. 2) A firewall. 3) Makes maps.
