As this is an outdoor activity, dress appropriately! Hats, gloves, warm jacket. Review the Cold Weather Clothing Checklist in the Scout Handbook (p. 204 & 322-324).

Wreath & Popcorn Sale

The money each scout earned through the wreath or popcorn sale has been added to their Scout Accounts. Emails with their balance will soon be sent. You can also email Liz directly and she’ll tell you how much you have.

Money in Scout Accounts can be used for troop activities -- such as outings and summer camp.

Railroad Merit Badge Clinic

Lionel Railroad Club (2721 S. Calhoun Road, New Berlin) is offering a Railroad Merit Badge Clinic for any interested scouts February 25, 2006. Clinic Runs from 8 am - 2 pm and costs $7.

If you are interested in more information, see Liz. Space is limited.

Congratulations!

Troop elections were held at the end of last year. The Troop Committee was presented with the results of the elections at their January Meeting.

It has been decided to combine the two patrols into one: the Dragon Slayers. Because of this, a new position was added: Assistant Patrol Leader.

Senior Patrol Leader -- Brian K
Assistant Senior Patrol Leader -- Henry P
Patrol Leader -- Alex B
Assistant Patrol Leader -- Collin G
Troop Guide -- Zach S
Trainers -- Sam D & Ben S
Quartermasters -- Chris J & Dom M

Scribe & Chaplain Aide will rotate by outing to give every boy a chance to try the positions.

Congratulations everyone.

Pinewood Derby

Pack 163’s Pinewood Derby is February 10th. The Troop is going to help run their races.

At the February 7th Troop Meeting, we will be training how to run the track and software. We will also be running some races! Everyone is invited to BRING THEIR OLD CARS to run and have some fun!

Meeting Set-Up

Starting with the Jan 17 Troop Meeting, we are asking Scouts to come a half-hour early and stay a half-hour late to help set up, & clean up the meeting space. Every hour worked (that’s one meeting’s set-up/clean-up) is an hour of Troop Service. Each hour of Troop Service will enter you in a drawing for prizes at the Court of Honors.

Sign-up for which meetings you would like to help set-up/clean-up.
