Quick Note
The time of Leader Meetings has changed. Instead of 12 pm, they will start at 12:30 pm.

April is Troop 4's month for rechartering

We need all scouts and adults who are going to stay in the Troop to fill out an application. Scouts must also pay their $36 yearly dues. Please have applications and dues turned in by the end of March.

Dues can be taken from your scout account.

March Campout

Because of a lack of activities, the March campout has been moved from Black River State Forest to Whitewater. Mrs. Pelrine's mother has graciously allowed us the use of her house for our campout.

When: March 31 - April 2, 2006
     Arrive at ETC at 4 pm, March 31st
     Leave ETC at 4:30 pm
     Return to ETC April 2 at approx. 12 pm

Cost: $25 / person

Permission slips and money are DUE March 14, 2006. If you don't have a Class I medical form on file, you need to turn one in. See Liz if you're not sure if we have one or not.

Bring your Swimming Suits. We'll be working on the swimming requirements for First and Second Class.

Spring Popcorn Sale

For any scouts that didn't get the opportunity to sell popcorn in the fall or if you'd like to raise a little more money for your scout account...

Troop 4 will be offering you the chance to sell as part of the Council's spring popcorn sale.

This is a shorter sale than in the fall. You may begin taking orders March 31st and MUST TURN IN ORDER SHEETS to Liz on April 11th (at the Troop Meeting). Product will be available for pickup on May 9th at the Troop Meeting.

Take order sheets will be available from Liz.

Remember, all profits from selling go into your scout account.

Pinewood Derby

 

Scouting for Food

Troop 4 did a great job working at Pack 163's Pinewood Derby. The Cub Scouts had a lot of fun!   Hunger doesn't just happen around Christmas. It is an ongoing problem. Scouting for Food is a Good Turn for America project to help needy families in the Waukesha Area.

Bags Out -- Distribution -- is March 11.

Bags In -- Pick Up -- is March 18.

We need scouts to work both days -- the morning of the 11th or 18th (or both). Scouts who participate earn service hours.

Sign-up as to which days you want to work. If you have any questions, Mr. Schramke is coordinating Scouting for Food.

More information will be given out at the March 7th and March 14th Troop Meetings.

Pancake Festival

Meeting Set-Up

 
Every hour worked (that's one meeting's set-up/clean-up) is an hour of Troop Service. Each hour of Troop Service will enter you in a drawing for prizes at the Court of Honors. Sign-up for which meetings you would like to help set-up/clean-up.
