Welcome to our new scouts! Richard, Jacob, Bryan, Christopher, Connor, Jason, Justin, Patrick and Tyler!

Dragon Slayers: We're going to be organizing and cleaning the troop trailer on April 29 from 10 am to 2 pm. Lunch is included. Sign-up by April 25.

For all the new scouts, we'll be giving you a chance to practice setting up your tents before you go camping on April 29 from 10 am to 2 pm. Lunch is included. Please sign-up by April 27.

Rain date: May 6 for both.

Hey! Our next campout is coming up in May! It'll be the first campout many of our new scouts will be going on.

Where: Camping in Kettle Moraine South State Park
When: May 12 - 14, 2006
Time: Arrive at ETC at 4 pm, leave ETC at 4:30 pm
Cost: $25 / scout

Please join us for a Mother's Day Lunch & Court of Honor on Sunday, May 14th.

Lunch starts at 12 pm. Program starts at 1pm. We should be done by 2 pm.

Cost: $1 / person (cost included for scouts who go on the outing)

Please have your permission slips and money for the campout and the Court of Honor turned in by May 9. New Scouts -- We need a Class 1 medical form filled out as well, forms are available from Liz or on-line.

March Campout
By: Liz D We had a terrific March campout! Saturday morning we went on a 5-mile hike through Kettle Moraine State Forest on the John Muir Trail (the Orange trail). It was a gorgeous day for a hike: not too hot, not too cold, not real windy. It was a little overcast, but it was absolutely beautiful. Five scouts who hadn't been to Summer Camp last year got their 5-mile hike requirement for Second Class completed. Saturday afternoon, we went to the Whitewater Aquatic Center. Not only did we complete many of the swimming requirements for Second and First Class, but we also completed the swimming tests for Summer Camp. We have 9 scouts that are CLASS A swimmers! Yeah! Mrs. Danner and I also tested and were certified as Class A swimmers. I was so tired Saturday night, but what a great day!
Spring Popcorn Sale
For any scouts that didn't get the opportunity to sell popcorn in the fall or if you'd like to raise a little more money for your scout account... Troop 4 will be offering you the chance to sell as part of the Council's spring popcorn sale. This is a shorter sale than in the fall. You may begin taking orders March 31st and MUST TURN IN ORDER SHEETS to Liz on April 11th (at the Troop Meeting). Product will be available for pickup on May 9th at the Troop Meeting. Take order sheets will be available from Liz.
Meeting Set-Up		Scouting for Food
Every hour worked (that's one meeting's set-up/clean-up) is an hour of Troop Service. Each hour of Troop Service will enter you in a drawing for prizes at the Court of Honors. Sign-up for which meetings you would like to help set-up/clean-up.		Thank You to all the Scouts who helped distribute bags and collect food for Scouting For Food. Troop 4 collected over 700 items in this year's Scouting For Food drive.
