Drop Offs
Anything that is due to the Troop can be dropped off at ETC to Liz or Dean's attention weekdays 8 am - 4:30 pm.

Leader Meeting
The next leader meeting is on November 12th at 12:30 pm at ETC.

The next Roundtable is November 1st at 7 pm at Butler Middle School.

Webelos Day Outing
ATTENTION: DATE CHANGE! This outing has been moved from Wednesday October 25th to Thursday, October 26th! The permission slips have the correct information.

Once again, we'll be meeting the Webelos as Lapham Peak for a day of fun activities to introduce them to the Troop.

When: Thursday, October 26
Where & Time: Meet at ETC at 8 am, we'll be leaving ETC at 8:20.
Cost: $4

Please have your permission slip turned in by October 17th.

Planning Conference & Lock-In
ATTENTION: DATE CHANGE! This outing has been moved from Wednesday October 25th to Thursday, October 26th! The permission slips have the correct information.

The Planning Conference is where you -- as in the Scouts -- will plan the next year's activities and outings. It's an over-night lock-in at ETC.

When: Thursday, October 26

Where & Time: Meet at ETC. The lock-in is after the Webelos Day Outing. If you can't come to the outing, but are coming to the lock-in be at ETC by 5pm. The Lock-in will end at approximately 9 am on Friday, October 27th.

Cost: $2

Cree-O-Ree
It's almost time for Creep-O-Ree! There are games, contests, trick-or-treat, costume awards...!! This year's theme: Medieval Knights!

When: November 3-5, 2006
Arrive at ETC by 4:60 pm. We will leave ETC at 5 pm November 3rd.
Return to ETC approximately 1 pm on November 5th.

Where: Camp Long Lake

Cost: $35 (before October 10 -- $40 after October 10)

Bring a bag lunch for Friday's dinner.

Please have permission slips and medical forms to Liz NO LATER than October 19th. Remember you have to have a Class I medical form signed this year. If you aren't sure we have one, ask Liz.

Wreath Sale
Final DUE DATE for orders is October 25th. Order forms CAN be turned in early so they don't get lost.

Wreath pick-up will be the weekend of November 17-19.

Popcorn Sale
FYI, the Council has switched it's popcorn distributor. This year we will be selling Pecatonica River Popcorn.

October's Boy's Life Quiz
Congratulations to Sam for finding 9 of the 10 answers from September. Sam won a free soda for getting the most right.

October's Prizes:
1st Place: $5 MacDonald's Gift Certificate
2nd Place: $2 MacDonald's Gift Certificate
Prizes will go to the first 2 scouts that have all the answers correct.

Remember to give your answers to Mr. Bear (you can email him) or another leader. All answers are found in the OCTOBER 2006 BOY'S LIFE - write down the page where each item can be found.
