Drop Offs

Anything that is due to the Troop can be dropped off at ETC to Liz or Dean's attention weekdays 8 am - 4:30 pm.

Leader Meeting

The next leader meeting is on November 12th at 12:30 pm at ETC.

The next Roundtable is December 6 at 7 pm at Butler Middle School.

Popcorn & Wreath Delivery

PICKUP for popcorn & wreath orders is November 17 from 3:30 - 5:30 pm. If you cannot make that time, please coordinate with Liz to schedule another time.

Please deliver your orders and collect the remainder of your money the weekend of November 18th and 19th. All money is due back to the troop at the Tuesday, November 21st troop meeting.

St. John Neumann delivery. We will need scouts to help deliver the wreaths and popcorn that was ordered at SJN. Delivery will be after the masses on November 18th and 19th. Please sign up to help.

If you have any questions about your order or how much money you still need to turn into the troop contact Liz.

First Aid/CPR Merit Badge Clinic

December 2nd at Butler Middle School is the First Aid Merit Badge Clinic. Check-in is at 11:30 am. Classes will run until 5:00 pm. Cost: $10 for the merit badge, $25 for CPR training.

The First Aid Merit Badge is an Eagle Merit Badge. This clinic is an easy way to get nearly all the requirements needed for the badge.

Already have your merit badge? Sign up to take the CPR training.

Winter Aquatics

Earn your Swimming merit badge at the Winter Aquatics #1 merit badge clinic. The Swimming merit badge is an Eagle Merit Badge!

Dates: Saturday, December 9th AND Saturday, December 16th. You must attend both sessions to earn your merit badge.

Cost: $24 before December 1st. $30 after. NO ON-SITE REGISTRATIONS.

Requirements: You must be a Class A swimmer for this merit badge. There is some up-front work from the merit badge book that must be done before going to the clinic.

Sign up early. Capacity is limited.

Creep-o-Ree Photos

Pictures taken by the Council from Creep-o-Ree will be able to be seen and downloaded at: www.militaryexplorers.us - click on photos, click on Creep-o-Ree 2006. The pictures should be up by the end of the week.

If you'd like to add any photographs, bring them on a CD to the Council Office.

Troop 4's pictures will go up in our scrapbook within the next week or so.

Council Ski Days

For any scouts interested, the Council is sponsoring Ski Days at Sunburst again this year.

Dates: December 27, 2006 AND/OR January 14, 2007 (pick one or go to both)
Registration is from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Ski from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Cost: $37 - Ski lift, equipment rental & lessons
          $34 - Ski lift and lessons
          $15 - 3 hours of tubing

Meeting Set-Up

Been on an outing? Have something fun to say about the Troop?

I'm always looking for stuff to put into the newsletters. I'd welcome all submissions for Scouts or parents.

  Remember, if you sign up to come early and help set up and then stay late to help clean up, you earn an hour of service to the troop and your name gets entered into a drawing for a prize at the next Court of Honor.
