Summer Camp - IMPORTANT

Everyone going to Summer Camp needs to attend the June 17th Troop Meeting. We're going to be finalizing details for the week we'll be in camp.

All merit badges need to be turned in to the Troop by June 17th. These have to be turned in to Napowan on June 18th.

St. John Neumann Festival

Total of 36 service hours were earned by the scouts who worked the Festival. Thanks to all the scouts who participated.

Canoe Outing

We've talked to the DNR and they said we should not go. We've looked at the rivers in the area and the news coming from along the river and decided for safety reasons we are canceling the Canoe Outing on June 14. We'll discuss options and alternatives at the June 10th Troop Meeting. Watch for more information coming soon.

Wood Badge

Congratulations to Liz for completing her Wood Badge course! Liz is now Working her Ticket in order to earn her Wood Badge beads.

Thanks to Dean for staffing the Wood Badge course. Dean worked as the Scribe and produced an excellent Gilwell Gazette for the participants during the two weekends the course ran.

For those curious... The picture to the left (taken from the Milwaukee Journal, June 10, 2008 issue) is of the breach of the dam that forms Lake Delton. All the water from the lake is draining back into the Wisconsin River.
