April 24, 2009

We NEED boys for this as we are the ENTIRE crossover portion of the program, including the telling of a tale (who wants to act the part of the chief and wear the headdress?). We will practice the ceremony at the April 21 troop meeting. This will include speaking parts which will qualify for portions of the Communications Merit Badge. This is a Class A uniform activity (as complete Class A as you have -- shirt, scarf, pants, merit badge sash, etc).

The cost includes transportation, general admission, the Sue exhibit, the Evolving Planet exhibit, and 1 special exhibit such as “Real Pirates” plus all the other cultures, mammals, birds, plants, gems, minerals, etc. Take a look at your merit badges as some of these exhibits will satisfy some requirements.
