OA Lock-In
February 18-19, 2011

The Onatah District OA Lock-In will be February 18-19 at South High School. There will be all sorts of fun activities. You don’t need to be a member of the OA to attend and have a blast. There will be basketball, dodgeball, video games and MORE!

Cost: $15 / scout ($10 / adult)
Time: 10:00 pm check-in on February 18. Activities run until 5:00 am.

Rotary Pancake Festival
February 19, 2011

This is a great service opportunity and a chance to eat all the pancakes you want! Any scout that works get to eat for free! We’ll be working the 10:30 am to 2:30 pm shift. Come early with your family and eat before you work. The Rotary Pancake Festival is at Waukesha Expo Center. Sign-ups will be available at Troop Meetings.

Court of Honor
February 20, 2011

SAVE THE DATE! The Winter Court of Honor will be February 20th at St. John Neumann. Watch for more information and a sign-up.

Scouting for Food & Whitewater Swimming Pre-Test
March 26-27, 2011

We will be collecting the food in this year’s Scouting for Food (Pack 163 is putting out the bags) on March 26. Afterwards we’ll head out for our March Cabin Camp and on Sunday we’ll go to the Whitewater Aquatic Center to take the Swimming Pre-Tests for Summer Camp.

ALL scouts are encouraged to attend this outing as Swimming Ability is also used by the Troop for outings and we cover swimming requirements from First and Second class at this campout.

Badlands Trip
June 30 - July 8, 2011

The Badlands Trip dates are set. The trip will be June 30 - July 8, 2011 with the Canoe Outing July 6 - 8, 2011.

If you have already made your deposit and cannot come because of the date shift, be sure to let Liz know!

NYLT Ice Cream Social
March 13, 2011

NYLT -- National Youth Leadership Training -- is a week long course that trains the youth (boy scouts & venturing scouts) to run their unit’s programs. NYLT will be the week of June 12 - June 17 at Camp Long Lake.

All scouts First Class or better are encouraged to go to the free Ice Cream Social on March 13, to see what NYLT is about. The Ice Cream Social is at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 20275 Davidson Road, in Brookfield from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm.

New Round Table Location

The new, new location didn’t work out so well either, so Onatah District is trying again. The new, new, new location is... Our very own St. John Neumann’s! Round Table will be at SJN starting with the March Round Table.

Summer Camp
July 17-23, 2011

It’s time to sign up for Summer Camp again. Permission slips are available.

Remember... Those of you who sold popcorn and wreaths... For every $100 you sold, you earned $5 off of summer camp up to $20! Liz has the list if you can’t remember.

Camp fees increased this year. To get the discounts you must be paid in full by the deadline.
