Fall Product Sale
October 16, 2012

At 10/16/2012 Troop Meeting all order forms for all products are due with any money that has been collected. If you cannot make it to this meeting, you need to contact Karen Anderson at 262-574-9952 and make arrangements to drop your money and forms off at her home so that the order can be placed. This is last Troop Meeting before all orders are due to council.

The Show & Sell at St. John Neumann is October 13 after the 5 pm mass and October 14 after the 8 am and 10:30 am masses. Sign up to sell -- profits from each mass will be shared among those who were there.

Suggestions?

We’re almost out of planned activities... The troop calendar runs out in December. But that’s ok... The planning lock-in will be October 26th. The suggestion box will be out at troop meetings from now until then. Anyone can write down a suggestion for outing or activity and drop it in the box.

Coed Camporee
October 19-21, 2012

Ancient Greek Olympics anyone? Coed Camporee will be at Harnischfeger Park October 19-21. Permissions slips are out at the troop meeting. Cost is $25 / person ($30 / person after October 9). Bring a bag lunch for Friday’s dinner.

Webelos Day Outing & Planning Lock-In
October 26, 2012

Show Webelos what an outing with Troop 4 is like then help plan next year’s calendar! Attend both and get a discount! Permission slips for the Webelos Day Outing and the Planning Lock-in are now available. Remember... If you don’t come to the lock-in you won’t get to help pick what events the troop is doing next year.

October Backpack Outing
October 27-28, 2012

Permission slips are out! This is a hiking/backpacking outing - carry in / carry out your gear. Meet at ETC at noon on October 27th, return the next day. Cost $15 / person.

Creep-o-Ree
November 2-4, 2012

Mr. Bomberg has a big piece of cow hide to turn into a troop banner -- think about ideas. The theme is Knights and Princesses. There will be a dance for older scouts and a movie for younger or those who don’t want to dance. The troop has been asked to run the sling-shot event!

Permission slips are available -- a quick turn in on October 9th gets you the cheapest price ($35 / person) otherwise the cost is $40 / person. Bring a bag lunch for Friday night.

Den Chief Pizzazz Session
November 12, 2012

Attention everyone interested in being a Den Chief. This is a hands-on supplemental training to the on-line training. You must complete the on-line training before the course and bring your certificate. You will receive a Den Chief Handbook and take-home ideas and booklets. Cost = $15. Register directly with the Council at www.pacbsa.org.

Waukesha Christmas Parade
November 18, 2012

St. John Neumann has once again asked for Scouts to walk with their float in the Waukesha Christmas Parade. More information and a sign-up will be available later.

Baloo Training
December 1, 2012

Want service hours? Come help at Baloo Training for the cub scout leaders on December 1st! We need two or three scouts to prep the charcoal and watch the Dutch ovens for lunch. Also help with breakouts and sessions. See Liz if you’re interested.

Adults Needed

We need adults willing to work with a scout to coordinate an outing. You do not have to attend the outing, but help the scout with things like making reservations. Outings Needing Adults: November (Creep-o-Ree) and December (Roller Skating)
